Clerk right to remove records from Web
Letter To The Editor

Hats off to Oneida County Clerk Sandra DePerno. Information such as Social Security numbers should never be posted for others to view.

Kim Landon’s statements (O-D Jan 9) about us moving back to the stone age and having to learn to cope with this information being on the Web are absurd. Identity theft is a huge concern, and our personal information, i.e. Social Security numbers, should not be out there. Identity theft literally ruins lives. What were Landon and former Oneida County Clerk Richard Allen Thinking?
