Motor vehicles office extends hours
The Department of Motor Vehicles now will be open from 9 a.m. to 6:50 p.m. on Thursdays at the Utica and Rome offices, said Oneida County Clerk Sandra J. DePerno.
The extended hours will begin on Thursday, Dec. 6.
“By extending the hours at DMV, we are better able to provide more convenient service to the working public,” DePerno said in a news release.
The Utica office is located inside Union Station, 321 Main Street, Utica. The Rome office is located at 301 W. Dominick St.
Also on Thursday, Dec. 6, and Thursday, Dec. 13, representatives from the clerk's passport office will be available to issue or renew passports from 5 to 6:50 p.m., DePerno said.
